3k.wtf is a small personal site for notes, links, and works in progress. It exists primarily as a place to collect thoughts and experiments without polish or performance. Content may change, disappear, or remain unfinished. The site is intentionally minimal, focused on function over presentation.

Networking

Routing
Port-Based VLANs are used to zone area's, providing their own DHCP and space to communicate. Plans to upgrade to RB5009UG+S+IN for faster L2 to ME1.

- VLANs: Public (Router, DNS, AC), Studio, Maintainer, Family, AirBnB
- VLAN Auto Shutdown for AC attempts
- VLAN configured on ports, no client configuration required, secured physically
- DHCP: each segregation has allocation to talk to their devices
- Queue for each VLAN to manage a congested upstream
- Ammortalised utilisation link under 15%
Power Delivery
Redundant Power systems are in use, including a UPS, Generator with fuel on standby, and solar. I hope to be off mains grid soon.
